I am loyal and patriotic.
I am the future of the United States of America.

Please make an effort!

We would like to take this time to thank you for your hard work and commitment to the JROTC program, however, we find it important to make the mission of JROTC clear.
JROTC “motivates young people to become better citizens. Our purpose is to encourage you to make your graduation requirements and succeed both in JROTC and in all your other High School Classes.
JROTC needs to pass an inspection. This inspection requires us to have a minimum of 51 cadets for our events, including parades and Military Ball. Attending these events is VITAL to the continuance of the JROTC program. If we do not have 51 cadets attend Military Ball, we will fail this portion of the inspection. If we do not make the inspection, the JROTC program will be DISCONTINUED.
We do not have NEARLY enough cadets. If you cannot make the grade check, try to talk to your teacher, or put in a little more effort; we will accept D’s but not F’s. If your grades are acceptable, we expect you to attend. Not attending affect your participation portion of your JROTC grade.
If you are a Geographical Exemption student, keep in mind that without the program, you will have to take Band or PALC or attend a school in your district!
Lastly, we hope you will take this seriously and choose to attend. And to help you out, we have extended the deadline until THIS Friday 12/12/08.

Thank You & hope to see you there!
